Katharine
She has not pinged since May 22, and she has still swam only 28,813 miles.

Einstein
He has not pinged either since May 23, and his mileage has not changed.

May 23, 2016

Katharine
Yay! She pinged yesterday. Her mileage went up less than 1 mile.

Einstein
He pinged three times yesterday. His mileage is still at 3,080 though.

May 20, 2016

Katharine
She is still absent :( No pings, and still at 28,813 miles.

Einstein
He pinged twice yesterday! However, his mileage hasn't moved for a long time, even though his tracker shows that he has swam quite a bit.

May 18, 2016

Katharine
She still hasn't pinged since April 14. Therefore, no pings for Katharine. :( She's still at 28,813 miles.

Einstein
He pinged 3 times today! He has pinged quite a few times, but he never stays above the water long enough to track him fully. Which is why he is still at 3,080 miles.

May 12, 2016

Katharine
She still has not pinged since April 14! Because she has not appeared above the water, there is no way of keeping track of how many miles she has swam. Therefore, her mileage is still at 28,813 miles.

Einstein
He sure has made his appearance! He pinged twice today, and twice yesterday. He is still at 3,080 miles.

May 4, 2016:

Einstein was tagged right off Port Aransas, Texas. He is a mature-sized Scalloped Hammerhead shark. He was named by Debbie and Sam Isaacs in honor of Albert Einstein, a famous scientist. This type of shark is becoming very low and is concerning many scientists. Einstein also does his fair share of travel, but stays particularly close to the shore of Texas.
